The Mission
Living Word Mission, since its establishment in 1975, has been a prominent voice in the market place. Through street evangelism, door-to-door witnessing, home Bible study programs, fellowship, Christian literature and poetry and our direct mail program, we have been able to reach many people with the gospel of our Jesus Christ.
Since its inception, the Living Word Mission has been instrumental in spreading the Gospel of the Kingdom in various areas throughout the United States and abroad. In addition to our initial beginning in San Diego, California, we have also been a voice for the gospel in the city of Los Angeles, New York City, Tuscaloosa, Northport , Gordo and Reform, Alabama, and are now launching our operation in the Virginia Beach, Virginia. area.
Along with our ministry of spreading the gospel, many have been blessed through our contributions to the poor and needy. We have contributed to Haiti’s Love a Child program, conducted by missionaries Bobby and Sherry Burnette, worked with programs that supply clothing and household items to Mexico, contributed to various feeding programs and other charitable organizations.
It is our desire to impact the areas in which we minister by saturating the market place in every way possible with the good news of the Gospel of Christ. This we plan to do, not only through “boots on the ground,” but also through every available medium; as there is no limit to our ability to reach the whole world with the gospel with the technology that is at our disposal in this modern age.
